What do you get to experience during Sip & Paint?
The experience begins with a joint work of art where the whole group creates together on a larger canvas. It becomes a creative way to get to know each other and get into the making.
After that, each participant receives their own canvas of 30 x 30 centimeters to create a personal work of art inspired by Swedish patterns, colors and design traditions. Guided by Ludmila Christeseva, the participants will be able to test different techniques and at the same time take part in exciting stories from the history of art.
The painting is interspersed with conversations about Scandinavian design, creativity and artistic expression. The result is an inspiring experience where each participant gets to create something completely unique to take home as a memory.
All materials are included and participants are allowed to borrow everything needed during the workshop.

About Restart Ukraine
Restart Ukraine is an art and peace project started in Stockholm in the spring of 2022, in connection with Russia's war against Ukraine. The project brought together Swedish and Ukrainian children and young people in creative workshops where they painted works of art together.
The aim was both human and practical: to create a safe space where Ukrainian children could express emotions, build new friendships and feel supported, while allowing the artworks to be sold to raise money for young artists and their families in Ukraine.
The project began as a youth initiative through Stephanie Tajiev and was further developed by Artten Gallery in collaboration with House of Ukraine. It has subsequently grown into an art collection that has been exhibited in several places, including during Kulturnatt Stockholm, Stockholm Craft Week and Stockholm Design Week at Livrustkammaren.
The central message is that art can function as a language beyond words. When children from different countries could not communicate fully with speech, they were able to meet through color, creation, and community. The project uses art as a way to show solidarity with Ukraine, support children affected by war and spread a message of peace internationally.
