**What do you get to experience during the city walk? **
The hike starts at T-Zinkensdamm and takes participants through some of Södermalm's most historically interesting parts. On the way up to Mariaberget you views of Lake Mälaren and the city's rooftops, while the guide tells about the development of the area and the people who lived here.
Participants will hear stories about Skinnarviksberget and Mariaberget, about the powerful Munich Brewery and about how the South has been home to workers, artists and cultural personalities throughout the ages. Along the way, attention is also paid to the unique cultural houses and literary figures who have resided in these neighborhoods.
The tour ends at the Church of Mary Magdalene, where the tour ends in a pleasant way — with a famous pastry as the finale.
