What do you get to experience during the city walk?

The walk starts at Odenplan and leads the participants through central Stockholm, focusing on the city's historic gardens and green environments. Along the way we tell the story of how Stockholm has changed over the centuries, from rural outskirts and marshlands to today's city quarters and parks.

During the tour you will visit, among other things, a mysterious ghost park where the story is still said to rest between the trees. The group will also experience Centralbadet's beautiful Art Nouveau garden, a quiet and green oasis in the heart of the city, as well as the historic Hårlemanska malmgården, reminiscent of the time when Stockholm was surrounded by large private gardens and orchards.

The tour also addresses the city's old hop farms and cabbage farms, places where Stockholmers once grew vegetables, spices and hops for everyday needs. Here stories about urban development, people's everyday lives and the role of nature in the growth of the capital are woven together into a vivid and inspiring experience.

The walk ends in Humlegården, a place that still bears traces of Stockholm's green history and is today one of the city's most beloved parks.
