Santa walking tour in the Old Townby Vad händer i Sverige

Experience the magical Christmas atmosphere of the Old Town, where cobblestones and deserted alleys are illuminated by the lights of lanterns. Join us for an atmospheric city walk where we explore the history and traditions of Christmas as we wander through Stockholm's oldest neighborhoods, nestled in winter darkness and light decorations.

Hear stories about Viking Christmas celebrations, discover why we have Christmas carbs and Lucia — traditions with Catholic roots that have become an obvious part of Swedish Christmas. When darkness envelops the alleys, the atmosphere is at its most magical, and along the way you will also see beautifully painted ceilings, old tiled stoves and impressive beams reminiscent of a bygone era.

The hike lasts 60 minutes and ends with homemade non-alcoholic mulled wine and organic gingerbread, enjoyed under the starry winter sky.
