Matmilen Stockholm is a food walk where participants visit several restaurants in Stockholm during the same afternoon. At each restaurant, a selected dish or tasting portion is served that is included in the ticket price. The event is created for those who want to discover Stockholm's restaurant life in a social, easy and fun way without having to choose just one restaurant.
It is a perfect activity for those who want to try new tastes, do something different with friends, go on a casual date or plan a nice group activity in Stockholm.
That's how the Food Mile works
When booking Matmilen Djuråden, please choose a date and start time. Upon arrival, you will receive information about which restaurants are included and the order in which to visit them. Then you walk between the restaurants at your own pace during the afternoon.
In each restaurant you will receive a selected dish or flavor portion. Food is included in the ticket, while drinks are ordered and paid separately on site. The layout makes it easy to discover multiple restaurants in a single day, while providing a social and relaxed experience in the city.
After you booked
After your purchase, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation. 3-4 days before the event you will receive an email from Matmilen with all the information about the restaurants you visit and the route you are taking. You can also follow our Facebook events and this page to get updates about restaurants and other things ahead of the event.

- Reservation is required in advance.
- The number of seats is limited.

- You walk between restaurants, so choose comfortable shoes.
- The event runs between 12.00 - 17.00

- The ticket is valid only for the date and start time you have chosen. You can reschedule dates if you get in touch 7 days before the event.
What food is served?
Each restaurant has prepared a tasting of the best from its menu. The chef is often creative and wants to serve something out of the ordinary.
Are vegetarian or vegan options served?
When you book, you will be able to indicate how many people in your group eat vegetarian food so the restaurants can prepare food for everyone. Unfortunately, it is not possible to adapt the food to more dietary requirements than vegetarian.
Is drink included?
No, but you can buy at any place. The restaurant can also recommend drinks for the food served and it is common for them to have a good offer during the event.
How long does the event last?
The event starts at 12.00 and lasts until 17.00. There are 3 different start times: 12.00, 12.30 and 13.00.
How much does Matmilen Djurgården cost?
The price is 449 SEK per person. The ticket includes food at all participating restaurants. Drinks are not included and purchased separately.
How do I find my ticket?
The ticket will be sent digitally to your email 3-4 days before the event. On the ticket you will find all the information about the restaurants you visit and where you start. The restaurants also have a guest list with your name and company so they check you out when you arrive.

Where does Matmilen Djurgården start?
Starting location and route will be announced before the event. The restaurants are usually within walking distance of Stockholm.
I have a food allergy, how do I announce it?
Unfortunately, Matmilen cannot take into account everyone's dietary preferences, but vegetarian options are offered. When booking, please indicate the number of people in the group who wish to eat a vegetarian diet.
Can I book my own Matmilen?
Oh, absolutely! For example, if you represent a company or are planning a major event, we can tailor our own Matmilen just for you. Click on “Do you want a private event” in the booking box and fill out the form and we will help you.
Can I buy Matmilen as a gift card?
Yes, the Matmile is a perfect gift to give! Click on “buy as a gift” and follow the instructions. You can also write a message to the person receiving the gift and you choose whether you want to buy a gift card for a specific event or for our entire range of events and experiences.
